How to research

Many people have been asking how they can go about researching the military history of relatives or former friends of relatives.

To answer this question, let’s break the answer into four parts.

Part 1 is researching Canadians who died during WW1.

Part 2 is Canadians who died in WW2.

Part 3 is Canadians who died after WW2 up to and including today.

Part 4 concerns Canadians who were in non-Canadian militaries when they died.
